Annual Conference
The vision to spread the Good News of the Gospel, Besserat, of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to his people and the longing of a fellowship among his people were the impetus that made Dr. Bahram Fessehazion respond to the call and envision the organization of Besserat Evangelical Society.
BES’ first annual conference, unofficially known as Camp, that was held in Columbus, Ohio in 1983 included some fifty people. Now BES is known by thousands of Eritreans all over the world.
Mid-Year Retreat
The continued objective of the Mid-Year Retreat is to identify a theme which will benefit and edify the College & Career individuals who attend. The Mid-Year Retreat is an opportunity for those attending to share in fellowship the managing of food and lodging, during a break from day to day activities. By using donations and collecting registration fees (from attendee’s) the Mid-Year Retreat is self-sufficient.
Annually the Besserat Conference (which is held during the late summer) is blessed by College & Career attendee’s serving in various ministries (teaching, leading, etc). During the Mid-Year Retreat these attendee’s are invited to be blessed by shared worship, receiving the Word and enjoying fellowship.
Women’s Retreat
The Women’s retreat provides a great opportunity for women and young women to come together in worship, prayer, and fellowship.
